Snow in Brittany this Sunday

It was expected: snow fell in Brittany overnight from Saturday to Sunday. But not all of the territory wakes up this Sunday morning with the ground covered in a white coat. According to the first observations on the ground, it is especially in Morbihan and Ille-et-Vilaine that the snow seems to have fallen during the night. This afternoon, a disturbance should sink in the region, enough to cause new snow showers “in the interior” of Brittany, according to Météo Bretagne.

Accidents on the road in Brittany because of the ice

A motorist traveling near Scrignac lost control of his vehicle in a bend due to the ice on the road, at a place called Le Poivre. The car ended up on its roof, but the driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own. The victim was taken care of by the Guerlesquin firefighters, who took him to the hospital as a precaution.

Rave party underway in Rennes: at least 3,000 partygoers on site

A rave party has been underway since Saturday evening in a former disused Sernam hangar, in the Plaine de Baud district of Rennes. At 9:30 a.m. this Sunday, at least 3,000 partygoers are on site. They arrived gradually around 10 p.m. on Saturday to install three sound bars. The music would have started from three hours later. Tents have been installed around the building, which adjoins a Keolis bus depot.

Audience: TF1 breaks a new record during England-France

Alps: death of a skier in an avalanche, the 3rd in a week

A 55-year-old skier died on Saturday in an avalanche in Vars (Haute-Alpes). The 50-year-old was caught in a casting in the afternoon, while he was off-piste, under the peak of Chabrières, a place accessible by the ski lifts of the station. He was found dead by paramedics. This is the third death in an avalanche in a week in the Alps.
