The latest episode of “Saturday Night Live” saw the casting alum Cecily Strong makes a surprise return to play the former prosecutor and television host of New York, Jeanine Pirro.
Strong appeared in the cold opening of the episode alongside James Austin Johnson as President Donald Trump, who recently appointed Real Pirro as an active American prosecutor for Washington, DC
The sketch has started by returning to a popular subject in recent weeks, Trump’s controversial tariff policies, with Johnson wondering: “Can a country go bankrupt? We will discover it.”
But he quickly went to “good news”, telling the public that he “had just appointed one of the noisiest people I know to be the American lawyer at DC: Jeanine Pirro”.
Trump announced Fox News host as the best DC acting prosecutor in an article on social socially this week, saying that she was “incredibly well qualified” for the role.
“Jeanine will be the most recent addition to my incredible team in my administration,” added Trump de Johnson, after Strong has entered thesely applause.
“And what a team, Mr. President,” replied Pirro de Strong. “I am so proud to be part of this group full of Russian active ingredients, alcohol dogs and famous people for the little animal babies they killed.”
Johnson’s Trump also presented Pirro as a “great legal spirit” and said that she had the “most important quality that I am looking for in a lawyer – she is on television”.

Strong has repeatedly usurted Pirro on “SNL”, the most memorable on “Weekend Update”, where a gag in progress included it taking a spit against the anchor of the segment, Colin Jost.
The last episode brought this joke after Jost joined the sketch as a defense secretary Pete Hegseth.
“I love Pete Hegseth. He’s my old consumer boyfriend,” said Strong Pirro while Jost entered the scene.
“I promised that I would never have a bottle touching my lips,” Jost told Johnson, before Strong covered the star of the mouth open in wine.
“Aw Yeah. That’s it,” said Hegseth de Jost.
Johnson’s Trump ended the sketch: “Friends are not team A. They are the AA team.”
Elsewhere in the episode, the star of “The White Lotus” Walton Goggins has taken accommodation tasks for the first time, recognizing his new status as “Sex Symbol” after her very appreciated performance in the successful show.
