James Austin Johnson, member of the cast of “Saturday Night Live”, returned as Donald Trump during the open Cold of the last episode to give his version of the announcement of the recent price of the president of the president’s “day” of the president.
During the sequence, Johnson as a Trump stood on the podium recreating Trump’s announcement in the Rose Garden, a joking that his pricing plan “will again make America ‘great depression.”
Last week, Trump announced 10% of prices on all imports in the United States, and even higher prices on goods of around 60 countries or commercial blocks that have a high trade deficit with the United States.
“We will be those who eat cats and dogs,” said Johnson as a Trump on “SNL”, refering to Trump’s comments on Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio during the presidential debate in September.
Johnson, as a Trump, also said that no country was “sure” of its prices, including an island uninhabited by humans called McDonald Island, a place he said he would like to visit.
“Can you imagine this, a Big Mac in a Hula’s skirt? Ooh la,” said Johnson like Trump, showing illustrations that had the imagery of the American fast food chain.
“Bring me to the country of God,” he added, referring to the Instagram history of the singer Country Morgan Wallen which he published last week after having suddenly leaving the “SNL” scene without recognizing the other members of the distribution after his appearance as a musical information of this episode.
A source familiar with the situation previously told CNN that Wallen had approached on the side of the camera at the time since he used the same path to enter and leave the studio all week during rehearsals.
In the latest episode, the alum of “SNL” and comic actor Mike Myers also returned as a musk in the open cold, this time with a cheesehead hat saying that he would come back from Wisconsin, where real musk had been involved in the elections of the Supreme Court of the State.
Jack Black welcomed the episode – for the first time in 20 years – with Elton John and Brandi Carlile as musical guests.
