Smokey Robinson was chased by former employees alleging a sexual battery, assault and false penalty. Women are asking for a trial with general damages for several allegations of at least $ 50 million.
Four Jane filed a complaint against Robinson and his wife Frances in front of the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, all claiming that Robinson had sexually assaulted them during their job as a cleaning lady at her catworth residence in California.
Women also said that Frances had created a hostile working environment using “words and ethnically ethnically pejorative language” while shouting in Robinson, and that it did not take appropriate measures to prevent misconduct despite the knowledge that he had settled the cases of previous women alleging similar attacks.
Robinson representatives did not immediately respond to VarietyComment request.
The trial, examined by VarietyDetails four Doe experiences working for Robinson. The first DOE was employed from January 2023 to February 2024 before it was forced to resign due to repeated assault and harassment. The costume claims that she worked on the weekend, when Robinson generally took Frances to the manicure show and accelerated at home to be alone with Doe. Once there, he called her in his room and locked the door, and after the shower, he began to assault him sexually despite his protests. The trial claims that he attacked it at least seven times.
The second DOE worked for Robinson from May 2014 to February 2020 and was attacked at least 23 different occasions. The alleged assaults began in the last part of 2016 when he sent her a text to meet her in areas of her residence where closed circuit cameras were not placed. When he arrived, he “grabbed him immediately and began to penetrate his vagina with his fingers, causing his excruciating pain, then would violate it”. The costume also says that he “would like the ejaculator everywhere on his face, his great satisfaction and his abject humiliation”.
Robinson employed the third DOE in February 2012 until April 2024, which claimed similar allegations like the first DOE and said that it was raped several times at least 20 times. In one case, when she resisted her advances, she offered her $ 500 for oral sex, which she refused. The fourth DOE worked as a personal assistant from Frances and chief from October 2006 to April 2024, and said that she was assaulted for the first time in 2007 when she accompanied Robinson to her home in Las Vegas.
Everything indicates that they have not taken measures against Robinson for fear of losing their livelihood, their family reprisals or their embarrassment. Some of them were afraid that this could affect their immigration status.
