‘Sister Wives’ Star Garrison Brown’s Cause of Death Revealed

Garrison Brown’s cause of death has been revealed. The manner in which the “Sister Wives” star died has been ruled a suicide, according to People.

The Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed that Brown died from a gunshot wound to the head. Alcohol poisoning also contributed to his death.

Garrison, whose real name was Robert Brown, was the son of Kody Brown, 55, and his wife, Janelle Brown, 54. He died at age 25 in March.

The TLC reality show, which has aired since 2010, follows the polygamous Brown family: her husband Kody, his four wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn and their 18 children.

Shortly after his death, Janelle revealed her son had sent alarming text messages, prompting her to send Gabe, 22, to check on him.

Authorities told the Post it was Gabe who found Garrison.

Janelle and Kody publicly split in December 2022. The exes are also parents to five other children and grandparents to three.

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Janelle, 54, and Kody, 55, posted on their respective Instagrams after TMZ broke the news of his death.

“He was a bright spot in the lives of everyone who knew him. His loss will leave such a big void in our lives that it will take our breath away. We ask that you respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory,” they said.

Christine shares six children with Kody, and after 27 years of spiritual marriage, they announced their divorce in November 2021.

“Garrison was a wonderful, caring brother who understood Truely’s need for a hobby and built her a flower bed,” Christine posted via Instagram. She shared a video of Garrison working out with her youngest daughter, Truely, 13, at their home.

“He will be forever missed,” she wrote in a tribute after Garrison’s death.

Meri and Kody announced their separation after 32 years in January 2023 “after a decade of working on our relationship in our own ways.”

Meri also paid tribute to Garrison following his death, echoing Janelle and Kody’s statements.

Robyn remains the only woman still with Kody since he legally married in 2014. The family lived in Utah before moving to Las Vegas.

Garrison appeared on the series since its premiere in 2010. He initially expressed interest in joining the military, but ended up in the National Guard, which was covered on the show – as was Garrison and his brother Gabe who left that home for Flagstaff due to Kody’s strict COVID-19 rules.

“All I have to say is that he was a wonderful person who had nothing but positive things to give to others,” Addison Miele, who was his roommate in Flagstaff, Arizona, told Us Weekly in March. “He helped me a lot when I needed a place to stay…He’s a good person and someone I look up to.”

According to an Instagram post from his cousin, Emma Brown, the family held a private funeral for him in March.

“Dear Robert, I had to dress up for your funeral today and this is all I wish you could have heard before I had to say goodbye,” Emma captioned a photo slideshow featuring featured his late parent. “I don’t even have a photo of you without your infectious smile. I don’t know if I have the right words to say that I’m going to miss you.

She added: “I wish I could have given you a hug and told you how much you were loved,” she continued. “You were human, you had flaws but I never doubted the friendship we had.”

Garrison’s half-brother, Mykelti Brown, also paid tribute, writing: “My heart breaks for my brother who is no longer with us, but I rejoice knowing that he is with his fellow warriors of Valhalla, drinking and fighting with Odin. »

“I hope he likes his place among the stars,” she continued. “Garrison was always the funniest person in the room. He was a cool guy and I cry so much because my type will never be able to feel his funny presence. But it will remain engraved in all my family’s memories.
