Sister Margarita Musquera, OSP, dies at 93.

A funeral mass at 11 a.m. for Oblate Sister of Providence Margarita Musquera will be offered on February 8 at the mother house of her religious community in Arbutus. Sister Margarita passed away on January 29. She was 93 years old.
Born in Cuba, Sister Margarita entered religious life in 1948 and made her final vows in 1956. She taught at St. Frances Academy in East Baltimore in the 1960s and later ministered there as well. in life. She also served in Cuba, Louisiana, New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida and Washington, D.C.
Sister Margarita earned her undergraduate degree from what is now Notre Dame University of Maryland in Baltimore and two master’s degrees from UMBC.
