The Olympic gold medalist shared this Jonathan Owens– Who she married in 2023 – made a mistake of judgment on their wedding day.
“For wedding day, he did not show me his tuxedo or his honor boys,” said Simone exclusively E! News By walking on the red carpet at the Time100 gala in New York on April 24. “I was not allowed to see until I go down the aisle, like him.”
And while the couple – who made the knot in an intimate ceremony of the justice palace in Texas before having a greater traditional celebration in Cabo, Mexico, a month later – agreed to keep their final appearance, the gymnast noted that Jonathan had taken liberties with a predetermined condition.
