This is not the first time that the gymnast has suffered from pain in competition mode, because it has known the “Twisties” during the Tokyo 2021 games. And with it increasingly aware of the requirements that sport exerts on its body, Simone is still not sure if it will participate in the 2028 summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
“Many people think that it is only a year’s commitment, but it is really the four years preceding the Olympic Games,” continued the athlete. “If I’m going to compete again, I’m not sure.”
However, this does not mean that it will not follow the pleasure of gymnastics.
Simone revealed that she would attend the Olympic Games, whether in the stands “or whether her skills on the safe. But in the meantime, the gold medalist focuses on its most important goal: finding happiness outside of your career.
“I really try to enjoy life, spend time with my husband (and) to go and support him in his games and live my life as a woman,” she said. “I have accomplished so much in my sport. For me to come back, I would really have to get excited. ”
