Silksong update 3 announced, patch notes

Another new Hollow Knight: Silksong has been announced, it is version 1.0.28891. If you don’t already see it on Nintendo Switch 2/Switch, it should be released soon.

A ton of different fixes are included here. On top of that, there are some slight adjustments.

The full summary is as follows:

Hollow Knight: Silksong version 1.0.28891 patch notes

– The game now pauses when the controller disconnects.
– Fixed various smaller controller issues (more fixes coming in the future).
– Fixed the remaining case where some players would get stuck by a curse late in the game.
– Fixed Curveclaw not reacting to Hunter’s downward stab.
– Fixed rare cases where it was possible to air sprint and double jump when not intended.
– Fixed several out of bounds situations.
– Fixed Pharlid Divers sometimes sliding across rooftops after an ambush in certain scenes.
– Fixed Eva Hunter Crest upgrades unintentionally removing equipment from the tool.
– Fixed rare instances of Harpoon sometimes granting 2 Silks instead of 1.
– Fixed Cogflies sometimes appearing from strange locations after a scene transition and, in rare cases, having their active quantity reduced by 1.
– Fixed crafting kits not increasing the damage of offensive blue tools (e.g. Sawtooth Circlet).
– Slight increase in Sharp Dart and Cross Stitch damage.
– Updated the damage scaling on Rune Rage to match other silk skills.
– Slightly decreased Thread Storm damage at higher needle levels.
– Fixed Surgeon enemies sometimes pulling the hero out of bounds.
– Fixed cases where some Coil Fragments could be permanently missed if a player exited immediately after collecting the item.
– Fixed Crust King Khann sometimes falling out of bounds upon entry, when fought on low-end systems.
– Fixed a rare case where the Second Sentry would spin when defeated.
– Fixed an additional case where Seth would sometimes go out of bounds and not return.
– Fixed Seth sometimes remaining invincible for a moment at the start of a new fight.
– Fixed safe sliding blocks responding incorrectly to sources of damage other than the needle.
– Changed Fine Pins wish from 50% chance to 100%, but the required quantity has been increased.
– Fixed issues when consuming a Silkeater in water.
– Fixed Scuttlebrace sometimes allowing a wall jump when not intended.
– Fixed a soft-lock during the opening sequence of the Great Gate, if the Citadel had been visited and some shrines remained inactive.
– Various minor fixes and adjustments.
