“Trailblazer” desperately needed a win after suffering back-to-back losses to Michael Page and Jack Della Maddalena in his last two fights.

Holland’s last fight lasted just 94 seconds, but for most of it he was on the verge of a third straight loss to Oleksiejczuk.

The heavy-handed Polish fighter scored a heavy knockdown before making the grave mistake of following his opponent, who is a BJJ black belt, to the ground.

Holland quickly grabbed one of Oleksiejczuk’s arms and began to lock in an armbar submission, but the 19-8 UFC star refused to tap.

The American kept changing angles to try to force the finish and he finally succeeded by breaking or dislocating his rival’s arm.

UFC commentators Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier pointed out the sickening injury several seconds before referee Herb Dean noticed it and called off the fight.

Footage of the sickening submission quickly went viral on social media and triggered UFC fans.

One person tweeted: “Crazy arm bar. »

Another said: “Ewwww.”

A third person added: “When that arm popped my body started to shiver bro.”

Someone else wrote: “His arm was damaged. »

During his post-fight interview with Rogan, Holland insisted he didn’t want to seriously injure Oleksiejczuk, but was forced to do so after refusing to tap.

“I was trying not to go too hard (on the armbar), but then I realized he wasn’t going to hit,” he said.

“I kind of feel like I’m the best goalie you’ve ever seen.”
