Which is better suited to Boss Librarian of America’s Library of Congress: a real librarian with a PH.D. from the University of Chicago. In the science of the library, or the lawyer for the criminal defense of Donald Trump of his silent trial after lying with Stormy Daniels, porn star?
Oh, it’s true – if you answered properly, you were incorrect, because you clearly lived in the normal world, this place that we get used to before Trump World curves the space -time of the universe.
Anything that just seemed to right people is now wrong, because the authoritarian president says it.
Except that this is not really the case. And it is not only people who are well thought out like us who achieve our duty to continue to talk about evil, daily malice and dangers for our country posed by the crazy edicts of this president.
You don’t need your expert HR team to suggest that the real Librarian Fallen in Congress, Carla Hayden, was the best person for work. From 1993 to 2016, she was CEO of the Baltimore library system. She was president of the American Library Association in 2003 and 2004. During this presidency, she directed the ALA in opposition to the provisions of the Nosy United States Patriot Act, which had a frightening effect on the public information services.
This is why she was appointed chief librarian in the country in 2016, with a term that expires next year.
Why the president appointed his personal lawyer, Todd Blanche, who lost the case of Trump’s concealment, feeling him with 34 convictions for crime, to become the best librarian in the country is not entirely clear.

Asked last Wednesday who was in charge of the library, the head of the majority of the Senate, John Thune, told Politico: “I’m not sure that this was determined.” When the president of the Mike Johnson room was asked the same question, he answered: “We want to make sure that all – you know, everything is followed correctly.”
This is not the case.
We are talking about the largest library in the world, with 162 million “cataloged articles”, including many real, more than 3,200 employees and 1.6 million visitors per year.
The White House focused on Hayden’s past support for diversity initiatives. Ok, we understand that the White House is against diversity. It also fundamentally includes the Congress Library. Trump’s team says Hayden “put inappropriate books in the library for children.” The Congress Library is not a loan library. It is for researchers, who must all be at least 16 years old. Most researchers are rather older than that.
Beyond the apparent fact that few Trumpies have actually darkened the door of the library, the members of the Congress have a lot. Indeed, the library serves as a main repository to obtain information. Members’ interactions with the Congressional Research Service are confidential. Or they have been standing so far.
The library itself pushes back, with the Congress. When two assistants of the lawyer for the anti-Porn star arrived last Monday, they were refused by the library staff because they had no clear authority to be there. If the leaders of the GOP Congress have not announced the support of this resolution of authoritarianism, they did not oppose either. A bipartite group of legislators will meet to explore the legal argument that a president can dismiss the congress librarian, his assistant serves his mandate.
“If they are employees of the congress and I know that there is a discussion on this subject, then they belong to the congress and not to the executive branch,” said senator Mike Rounds, R-South Dakota. He is seated on the subcommittee which finances the Congress Library. While legislators play their library cards and underline the Qatari Kleptocracy 747, it is part of a new rebellion against the Empire and the Emperor.
