Shooting inside Garden Grove hot pot restaurant injures 3 men

Three men were shot dead Saturday night at a hot pot and seafood restaurant in Garden Grove, police said.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. inside the Hot Restaurant at 12921 Magnolia Street. Officers found the suspect, a man in his 40s, still inside the business and being held by clients, Garden Grove Police Sgt. said Nick Jensen.
Two victims in their 40s were also found inside with gunshot wounds to their upper torsos and were hospitalized in critical condition. Another victim in his 30s suffered minor injuries to the lower torso, police said.
The suspect and the victims were involved in an altercation prior to the shooting, according to the news release. Details on what led up to the fight were not immediately available. The investigation is ongoing; witnesses are asked to contact Detective Steve Heine at 714-741-5422.
