Shooting in Northeast Washington injures 4 men, 1 woman

A shooting Friday in the 1500 block of Harry Thomas Way NE in the District of Columbia left four men and a woman injured.

The shooting happened at 8:18 p.m., according to ABC’s WJLA-TV, near Union Market and Gallaudet University.

When Metropolitan Police officers arrived at the scene they found the injured woman and one of the injured men conscious and breathing. Both men were taken to hospital and two other men involved arrived at the hospital separately, police said in a post on X.

Police did not say whether the fourth man was also hospitalized. While an investigation is ongoing, police said in a later post: “As a preliminary matter, this shooting stemmed from a dispute between known parties. »

Police have not identified any of the people involved or whether anyone has been arrested or charged.
