OAKLAND – Two people were injured by gunshots while they were dining in a downtown Oakland restaurant, an incident that left a window riddled with ball holes, police said.
The shooting took place around 8:16 p.m. Friday evening at the Pierre Pierre restaurant, a ground restoration establishment at 409 13th Street, which is the Tower Tribune in downtown Oakland, police announced.
A man from Richmond, 24, and a woman from Oakland, 31, were struck by the spray of shots during dinner at the Pierre Pierre restaurant, according to investigators.
The man was struck more than once and the woman was struck at least once. The victims obtained walks in various hospitals in the Bay region.

The victims would have been in a stable state. The identity of the victims has not been disclosed.
Balle holes were visible in the window on Saturday. The shooting occurred on the side of rue Franklin de la Tribune Tower.
Police arrested the injured driver after a firearm in the driver’s vehicle. Police think that the driver had no connection with the shooting incident. The driver, 26, was not identified.
No arrest was made or disclosed to mid-May on Saturday.
The Oakland police service has not reported a shooting reason.
