The chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan
“Neither the Minister -in -Chief, the chief minister was not earlier nor now. I’m just a party worker… ”, said CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
The declaration was made by Chouhan in the middle of the speculation on which is the next chief minister of Madhya Pradesh after the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party retained power in the elections of the recently concluded assembly.
“I am just a party worker and whatever the position or the duty that the party will give, I will achieve it,” said Chouhan.
“I consider myself lucky that I had the opportunity to work with a leader like Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Madhya Pradesh the chief minister.

He also thanked the people of Madhya Pradesh for voting the BJP in power.
“As a family member, the BJP will continue to work for the development of the residents of Madhya Pradesh,” added Chouhan.
In the assembly of 230 members of Madhya Pradesh, the BJP won 163 seats, while the Congress managed to win only 66 seats.
Chouhan is the oldest minister -in -chief in Madhya Pradesh, takes the oath for the first state position in 2005.
Considered one of the most eminent leaders of the BJP, Chouhan, in the elections of the 2023 Assembly, has challenged the constituency of Budhni, which has been a bastion for him since 2006.
For the first time, he won Budhni’s riding in 1990 and was elected as a deputy for the first time to Lok Sabha from the Vidisha district in 1991.
Later, he won the headquarters of the Budhni district in 2006 again, retaining his grip on the constituency to date.
