Sheriff’s deputies investigate after victim shoots at friend’s home in Fallbrook

Deputies are investigating after a gunshot victim showed up at the home of a family friend in Fallbrook on Wednesday, sheriff officials said.
The friend called 911 shortly before 11 a.m. to report that the male victim was at home on Rainbow Glen Road, just west of Interstate 15, the department said. .
Paramedics took the victim to hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the abdomen, Lt. Matthew Carpenter said. Lt. Scott Roller later said the man was listed in stable condition.
The shooting apparently occurred at a different location, but the exact location was unclear, Carpenter said.
No information on a suspected shooter was available.
