Throughout the UPS, Downs, INS and Outs of the NFL 2025 draft process, the quarter-arre of Colorado Shedeur Sanders has remained relatively equal.
Despite anonymous reports on his attitude entitled, the offensive player of the year of Big 12 of 2024 said that he “does not care” to fall from the three best choices – and simply expect the opportunity to play at the next level.
Now in the morning before the first round, Sanders has a simple message in a word:
“The legendary,” he published Thursday X (formerly Twitter).
Legendary
– Sheder Sanders (@Shedeursanders) April 24, 2025
“Be legendary” has become the motto of Sanders as he continues his football course. The 23-year-old carries the word on a silver chain, wrote it in front and center of his biography on Instagram, and even used it in a fun debate with his other best quarter-back Prospect Cam Ward. Sanders says he lives by the term here.
“It’s just something that always keeps me on the right track,” he said. “It makes me move forward and makes me be the best of the best. You must be legendary throughout the table. In the field, off the field, in class, in the community – with cars. You just have to be legendary.”
During four college seasons in Jackson State and Colorado, Sanders launched 14,347 yards and 134 affected while adding 17 additional scores on the ground. Son of Deion Sanders, he will have the chance to be legendary in its own right once he will have his new team this weekend.
Sanders, although widely considered as a quarter 2 of this year’s class number 2, has a range of potential landing points. Some have it third in the general classification of New York Giants. Others – like Sports Illustrated Albert Breer – fell from the first round.
We will wait to see what’s going on Thursday evening. The first round of the NFL 2025 draft starts at 8:00 p.m.
