“We make it a given moment,” she said about her headliner set, choreographed with Goebel Parris
Lady Gaga promised the chaos of Grabuge in Coachella – and she is ready to deliver. In his interview with RollerQueen Pop said she was delighted to play her Grabuge Subseat “Killah” during its set festival at the top of the Friday.
She shared that “Killah” was specifically “really special” for her. “It was really Gesaffelstein’s baby,” said Gaga. “I am so impressed with his work on this disc. And we had a good time doing it together, ”she adds. “The bridge stands out and it’s going to be the total chaos, a good time. I can’t wait to play Coachella.”
Gaga abstained from teasing his Coachella set, but shared his enthusiasm to start a new live show with performance, working alongside Parris Goebel. “It means so much for me and it’s so special that I want everything to be a surprise. But I would say that we make it at times, “she said. “I can’t wait to do it … I love singing for people and making people happy.”
His headliner Seton Friday marks his return to the desert after taking over the Baoncé slot machine in 2017 due to Bey’s pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir Carter. At the time, Gaga promoted his album Joanne. (Bey would return to the festival in 2018 for its emblematic Return home performance.)
“I have long been dreaming of launching a massive night of chaos in the desert,” wrote Gaga on Instagram after being announced as a headliner. “I had a vision that I could never fully achieve at Coachella for reasons independent of our will, but I wanted to pass for music fans.”
“I wanted to go back and do it properly, and I am. I am headlining and I start the weekend in Coachella,” added Gaga. “I can’t wait to hear you all from Singalong and Dance dance until we fell.”
