The NFL renowned temple and Sharpe Shannon Sharpe personality was accused in a 13 -page civil action, in which a Jane Doe alleges that he has sexually assaulted it twice in the past year. The triple Super Bowl champion, which is prosecuted for more than $ 50 million in compensatory and punitive damages, published a statement via his online lawyer contesting the complaints.
The trial, tabled on Sunday in the county of Clark of Nevada, by the lawyer of Houston, Tony Buzbee (who represents a certain number of accusers against Sean Combs), alleges that the consensual but “deep manipulative” relationship with a 30 -year -old woman has become abusive, causing threats and actions of physical violence, including anal rape.
According to the complaint, Sharpe, who is now 56 years old, first met the 19 -year -old applicant in 2023 in a gymnasium in Los Angeles and “constantly prosecuted”. After their first meeting, the trial describes a period of a year and a half when the applicant met Sharpe at his home as often as four times a week, by which the podcaster “would treat her as an object”.
The pursuit alleys that Sharpe stifled her, threatened to kill her, recorded their sexual activities and shared them with others without his knowledge and told him that he wanted to do things that “would only do any other man wanted to”. This also alleges that Sharpe “understood how to enter the Doe apartments complex without its permission.”
In an alleged meeting, Sharpe reprimanded her while a firearm was visible in the room. “Terrified for his safety, the plaintiff tried to share her place with friends of his iPhone – just in case Sharpe saw her doing this. As he realized what she was doing, he caught it by the neck and said to him” If you ever start again, I will kill you “, reads the document.
The trial contains a mention of accidental Instagram broadcast live from Sharpe by having sex with a woman in September 2024, something that the prosecution claims was anything but involuntary. The woman was not the doe in question, the prosecution indicating that the action “not only was emotionally injured – she made him fear for her sexual health and the risk of sexually transmitted disease”, leading her to distant himself of Sharpe.
After continuing the DOE following the live incident, the trial alleged that on October 6, 2024, Sharpe forced oral sex on women, holding her in place to do so while she was sobbing. He then raped her by force, said the pursuit. On January 2, 2025, the complainant said that she was again induced by force to carry out oral sex for two minutes, then raped.
“As soon as he penetrated her, the applicant shouted and sobbed. His tears for help did nothing to stop Sharpe. The assault lasted about 10 minutes, ending only when Sharpe got ejaculated in her. The applicant cried and begged several times to stop,” describes the costume.
The document also refers to another judicial case, Michele Evans c. Shannon Sharpe, tabled in January 2023 in New York, who alleged that Sharpe acted “strangely similar” to the actions presented in this current pursuit, including forcing non -consensual oral penetration and vaginal penetration while telling Evans that he would “do so that no other man would like”.
“Shannon Sharpe is not only a sports icon – it is something worse. It is a defective and narcissistic individual who has spent years using his fame, his power and his influence to manipulate, control, subjugate and violate women, ”says this pursuit.
Continuing for assault, sexual assault, sexual blows and drums, as well as the intentional infliction of emotional distress, the prosecution requires a trial with jury.
In response to the prosecution, Sharpe published a statement via his lawyer Lanny J. Davis on social networks in which he names women and apparently cites text messages supporting what he considers a consensual relationship. The declaration calls for prosecution as a “blatant cynical attempt to shake Mr. Sharpe for millions of dollars. It is filled with lies, distortions and false statements – and it will not succeed. ”
Davis also claims that the applicant “strongly published” a recorded video of a consensual sexual meeting to paint it as non -consensual, refusing to provide a copy. In response, Davis published explicit messages allegedly sent by the Doe to illustrate “a clear image” of a “consensual and adult relationship which included his role -playing game, sexual language and fantastic scenarios requested by her”.
“Mr. Sharpe categorically denies all allegations of coercion or misconduct – in particular the raw lie of” rape ” – and will not submit to what he considers as a blatant attempt of blackmail,” the press release said.
During the summer of last year, Sharpe signed a multi -year contract with ESPN in an agreement that widened its presence during the Morning Debate Show First catch and other network programs.
