Mercedes “MJ” Javid says the sun has set on his union for Tommy Fight …because the “Shahs of Sunset” star filed for divorce after more than seven years of marriage.
The reality star filed the paperwork in Los Angeles on Friday night…and she lists the separation date as last Friday, October 17. So it appears she didn’t wait long to head to the courthouse after the separation.
She cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation…and she asks to block the court’s ability to award alimony to herself or her ex-husband.
Mercedes and Tommy got married on April 21, 2018, and they share a 6-year-old child together named Pillowcasesand MJ is requesting sole physical and legal custody…but is open to a visitation schedule for Tommy.
A divorce hearing is scheduled for December 18.
Mercedes starred in all nine seasons of “Shahs of Sunset”… appearing on the show from 2012 until its end in 2021. Tommy also appeared on the show over the years, and the two had their well-documented ups and downs, like any couple.
We’ve reached out to Tommy for comment…so far, no response.
