Services affected by the Thanksgiving holiday

City of Tucson garbage and recycling services scheduled for Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, will be delayed one day. Friday’s regular collection will be delayed by one day. County waste, recycling All landfills and transfer stations in the county will be closed on Thursday. This includes the Ajo landfill and the transfer stations at Ryan Airfield, Sahuarita and Catalina. For more information, call 623-7300. Bus Sun Tran buses will run on a Sunday-Thursday schedule; the Sun Link light rail will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. Express and shuttle lines will not operate on Thursday.
