Selena Gomez Responds to ‘Skinny’ With Justin Bieber TikTok Claim

The ‘Same Old Love’ singer subtly responded to a TikTok video that alleged her weight was affected by her ex justin bieber. The clip, posted Nov. 29, featured a montage of retro photos of Selena captioned, “The reason Selena is always skinny when she dates Justin.” In the caption, the creator claimed that the “Baby” singer – who was married to Hailey Bieber since 2018 – “pretty much modeling” and took pity on Selena calling her “My poor baby”.

On December 11, Selena reacted to the post by dropping a sad emoji face in the comments. While some fans interpreted the 30-year-old ringer as agreeing with TikTok’s claim, many others viewed her as disappointed that her weight was being judged online.

“Maybe she’s upset that you constantly bring up her changing body over the years,” one fan wrote in the comments, while another said, “Sad face because YOU are still discussing her past as if you knew her.”

Others found the TikTok set to be inappropriate with one fan commenting, “Her weight shouldn’t even be a topic of conversation.”
