Selena Gomez entered the chat after Hailey BieberComments about not being “inspired” by other beauty brands went viral — and planted a flag next to the Rhode Beauty founder in her defense.
Check out Sel’s Instagram post that she shared — and quickly deleted — Friday night. She tells her fans to “leave the girl alone” after she was criticized for what people, and even TMZ, thought she was. shady comments about her.
The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star continued… “She can say whatever she wants. It doesn’t affect my life in any way. It’s just about relevance, not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There’s room for everyone. And I hope we can all stop.”
As you probably saw, the drama unfolded based on comments Hailey made during her recent WSJ interview, during which she lamented that women are so often pitted against each other… and said she doesn’t “feel like I’m competing with people who don’t inspire me.”
She made the comment when asked if Rhode was now being sold out against the myriad of other Sephora brands…including Selena’s Rare Beauty.
But, like Selena, HB said she believes there’s room for everyone. And sources linked to the model and beauty mogul confirmed her statement. had nothing to do with Salt.
