Kate Middleton shared a thoughtful message in honor of Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom. Instead of centering her message around her three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, the princess of Wales took a more universal tone, turning her attention to the “mother nature”.
“During the last year, nature has been our sanctuary,” wrote Middleton on Instagram. “This Mother’s Day, let’s celebrate mother nature and recognize how our link with the natural world can help not only feed our inner self, but also remind us of the role we play in the rich tapestry of life. C”

The touching message was published alongside a beautiful video featuring natural world clips, apparently filmed near Middleton’s house in Norfolk. Among the images of overwhelming waves on the Norfolk coast, tiny ladybugs crawling on grass stems and flowers that flourish in the sun, the video also included some Middleton clips itself – one that showed it touching a tree and carrying the same dress that it was wearing in its cancer update video from last September, and another that seemed to show it a dress with two Dogs.

Middleton has shown his love of nature to countless other occasions, lending his support for a number of projects that celebrate the natural world. In 2019, she worked on the “back to natural” garden in 2019 at the Chelsea Flower Show. Last July, when she was still undergoing chemotherapy treatment, the princess showed her support for the garden project of the London Natural History Museum, writing on Instagram: “I greatly support the museum’s commitment to create a special space that encourages people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about the way we can protect our natural world.” Well-being, both by bringing us joy and helping us to keep us physically, mentally and spiritually healthy. I hope that these gardens will be inspiring and transformers for the thousands of people who visit. “Apparently, Middleton also likes to garden at home.

The Middleton Mother’s Day post this year marks a notable change compared to last year’s message. In 2024, the Middleton Mother’s Day post was his first statement since his operation in January 2024. “Thank you for your kind wishes and your continuous support in the past two months,” wrote Middleton. “Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C.” The message was published alongside an image of Middleton seated outside surrounded by his three children. Many people quickly noted that the photo brought several Photoshop inconsistencies and the Associated Press even deleted the image of their platforms. Middleton finally explained that she had herself published the photo like “amateur photographers”.
