See Shaun White Wear “Vampire Diaries” Merchandise for Nina Dobrev

Last month, Nina Dobrev was in the hospital after a serious dirt bike accident. However, thanks to a little rest, relaxation and the devoted attention of her beau Shaun White, it seems that the Vampire Diaries The alumni are well on their way to getting back on their feet, at least figuratively speaking. In a new carousel of photos and videos, Dobrev shared White’s unorthodox nursing methods, which include cheering her up while wearing a white sweatshirt with Elena Gilbert’s face on it.

“Gilbert,” White says with a laugh in a video shared by Dobrev on June 2. He also showed off some of his dance moves while wearing the Vampire Diaries merch. “I love you Gilly.”

“You’re crazy,” Dobrev can be heard in the background of the clip. “I love it.”

“Life has been a little different lately,” the actress captioned her post. “Swapping the ‘selfie’ for the ‘leggie’. Get ready for some leg content, because that’s all I have in my camera roll these days.”

White was present and weighed in in the comments, writing, “Just keep things on brand.”

Other carousel images showed Dobrev’s casting, a doctor’s visit and a mirror selfie with a pair of crutches. Dobrev’s accident happened on May 20, so she’s only been recovering for a few weeks — and it looks like she still has some time left before she dons heels and hits the red carpet again.

If laughter is the best medicine, White seems to be dishing out plenty of it as Dobrev recovers. It is unclear whether or not the laughs include a replay of The Vampire Diariesin which Dobrev appeared for six seasons, including a quick return to her role as Elena Gilbert for the series finale (never forget how she also played Katherine Pierce and Amara).

“I’m fine, but it’s going to be a long road to recovery,” Dobrev told his supporters shortly after his accident. She added: “I think it’s safe to say that my first time on a dirt bike will also be my last time lol.”
