With Memorial Day officially in the rearview mirror, everyone scrolling through Instagram should be ready to brace themselves for the barrage of summer snaps from their favorite celebrities. Yes, that means yachts. Yes, that means Aperol spritzes. And yes, lots of swimming inspiration, most recently, from Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Everyone’s favorite vampire slayer shared a photo taken from a pool at Green Valley Ranch Resort in Nevada, wearing an easy and airy white lace cover-up that proves stunning pieces can do double duty.

“Summer Sarah is here,” she captioned the photo, officially ushering in the season and the laid-back vibe that comes with it.

Gellar finished her look with a pair of chunky sandals and classic black oval-shaped sunglasses. She showed off her covered-up dress to the fullest by popping her leg out of the thigh-high slit and the finishing touches included a stack of gold necklaces and perfect beachy waves.

The poolside pose comes after Gellar wore another summer outfit to the Daily First Rank‘s Fashion Los Angeles Awards last month. For the occasion, she wore a sherbet-colored ombré sequin dress that went from mint green to perfect pink. At the event, she presented the Makeup Artist of the Year award to her longtime makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin. The two men have worked together for more than two decades.

Just before that, Gellar made another stunning red carpet appearance at the Producers Guild Awards, where she presented the Norman Lear Award for Achievement in Television to Gail Berman, the woman who directed Buffy the Vampire Slayer possible. In an Instagram post reflecting on their time together and this very special evening, Gellar wrote: “I don’t know why she chose me to give it to her, but to say I was honored is an understatement. I love and appreciate you so much Gail, I hope you know how much you mean to me.
