Second fire breaks out in Pasadena amid strong Santa Ana winds

As firefighters battle a fast-moving brush fire in the Pacific Palisades, a second blaze has broken out in nearby Pasadena.

The two fires forced more than 30,000 people to leave their homes. An estimated 200 acres are now on fire in the Pasadena area as firefighters battle the Eaton Fire. Eaton firefighters are conducting evacuations as the fire continues to grow.

Strong Santa Ana winds grounded aerial firefighting planes, rendering them unable to fly and delaying aerial waterbombing efforts.
