Sean “Diddy” Combs was struck by two new criminal charges, including sex trafficking and engaging in prostitution, just a month before he was tried in New York.
The new accusations, made public on Friday before a Manhattan court, include allegations of more recent criminal offenses against another victim.
Prosecutors allege that Mr. Combs recruited, transported and forced this victim to engage in sexual acts and prostitution from 2021 to 2024.
The hip-hop magnate has denied all the allegations against him, including those described in dozens of civil proceedings filed. The BBC contacted its lawyers to comment on the latest accusations.
An investigation by the Grand Jury charged Mr. Combs last year for rating in racketeering, sex trafficking and transport to engage in prostitution. These two new charges bring to five of total federal accusations.
The court document does not provide details on the new offenses, but the prosecutors allege that they arise from an investigation by the Grand Jury.

An important part of the most serious allegations against the rapper concerns the accusation of racket conspiracy, which includes accusations of kidnapping, drugs and women’s constraints in sexual activities, sometimes using firearms or threats of violence.
The accusation includes the details of a raid on his manor of Los Angeles, where the police found supplies which, according to them, were intended to be used in orgies called “freak offs”, including drugs and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
Mr. Combs was one of the best efficient music rappers and magnate in the United States, known to help make people stars.
Known as Puffy, Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Love or Brother Love over the years, he emerged on the music scene in the 1990s and quickly became a familiar name.

Since he was charged, dozens of prosecution have accused Mr. Combres of Using this power to drugs, assault, rape, intimidate it and silence people.
Currently, he is detained at the Metropolitan detention center in Brooklyn, New York. His criminal trial is expected to start on May 5.
