The Seattle Seahawks did not save movements in the quarter-Arrière this off-season. First of all, the team agreed to exchange the outgoing starter Geno Smith at the Raiders of Las Vegas for a third round choice, then turned right and signed the free agent Sam Darnold of the Minnesota Vikings.

After spending the 2022 and 2023 seasons in Seattle after arriving as one of the pieces acquired in the Denver broncos fleece known as Russell Wilson Trade, Lock spent the 2024 season with the New York Giants. In New York, he started five games, notably by conducting the Giants in the Victory on the Indianapolis colts in the week 17, a victory that struck New York of the first choice in total to the draft of the NFL 2025.
