Sara Evans details her struggle with eating disorders and body dysmorphia

Sarah Evans opens up about her body image struggles.

The County singer recently opened up about how being in the spotlight has made her more self-conscious about her appearance, especially when she reads other people’s comments.

“It bothers me, I won’t say it doesn’t,” Sara said. Cheryl Burke in the April 28 episode of She Sex, lies and spray tans podcast. “I have an eating disorder. I’m more afraid of being fat than anything in the world, and it’s not right. It’s not normal.”

The 53-year-old noted that because she felt pressured to maintain her appearance, she suffered from body dysmorphia.

“My label, every time I had a baby, they were like, ‘When is she going to lose weight?'” Sara, who shares children. Avery24, Olivia20, and Audrey19 years old, with her ex-husband Craig Schelske-explain. “So things like that were coming to mind.”
