Sankranthiki, crime story, rescue mission: Anil Ravipudi

Director Anil Ravipudi, known for his super hits and blockbusters, is gearing up for a wholesome entertainer, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, starring Venkatesh. The director explained that the title was chosen during the story development process and was justified by the setting of the film, which takes place during the Sankranthi festival.

Anil Ravipudi described the film as more than just a typical film, emphasizing that comedy is a difficult genre to handle. “Though the film is entertaining enough, it is another unique attempt, after Bhagavanth Kesari. The plot involves a criminal journey and a rescue mission, with a major portion taking place in the rural areas of Godavari districts. The narrative takes an unexpected turn, adding suspense as the story progresses in the second half. »

The director pointed out that Venkatesh’s character in Sankranthiki Vasthunnam would be a departure from his roles in F2 and F3. “Venkatesh delivered a polished performance.
