The hearts came a few centimeters from an opening opener of the third minute. Kartum chose Kenneth Vargas who whispered a fair shot from the left post of Carson.

The witchcraft of Oluwaseun Adewumi, twinned with the movement and muscle of Murray, had hearts on the back.
Craig Gordon first held Murray the first time, before Dewumi was effortless between two defenders only for a heavy touch to frustrate.

The hearts adapted to the Dundee press and began to probe from all directions.
The opener came from the left. James Penrice’s rejection found Lawrence Shankland protecting the ball and licensed to Blair Spittal.
He quickly worked on Kartum, before Sk Brann’s signing of January brann made a nice finish in the net with the interior of his left boot.
This advance could easily have doubled before the break. Shankland pushed a delicious ball to Vargas.
Carson stood firm to beat the shot but, while Shankland slipped into the net on the rebound, the offside was called.
In an additional time, Dundee almost leveled like a brilliant aerial film by Murray sent Adewumi Clear. Its shot has traveled the top of the transverse bar.
At the start of the second half, Kartum had a chance of carbon copy to shape another 20 yard strike. This one did not plunge into time – and Dundee survived before equalizing.
Ziyad Larkche has almost kept the ball in play and his cross was met by Shaughnessy who showed Captain’s desire to beat Penrice and plant a head at the seven -meter house.

Five minutes later, the mortal blow was landed. Kartum ended Robertson at 35 meters at the end of his left foot, pushed an elegant finish through a well -lived penalty surface to seal the Hearts path to Hampden.
The boss of Dundee, Tony Docherty, said: “ I was disappointed with the first half, I wanted the players to be more courageous and I challenged them to do so.
“They went out and showed this side and we had hearts where we wanted them.
“This bravery will serve us well for the nine cup finals that we have to come (in the league). But there are times in the games that are essential, and that’s what we have to learn.
