San Jose police investigating the fifth homicide of the city

San Jose police investigate the fifth homicide of the city year with a shooting Saturday evening south of the city center which turned out to be deadly on Sunday.

San Jose PD sent a social media position at 7:06 pm on Saturday by alerting residents of a person killed in the locust and W. Virginia street district, and blocked traffic in the district south-east of the intersection of the Interstate 280 highway and Guadalupe Parkway. The officers were on the premises investigating the incident and closed Locust Street of W. Virginia to grant Steet.

Sunday morning, the department followed a position which “unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased”.

Police said more details are said to be reported later.
