SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — San Francisco Mayor London Breed joined ABC7 News at 3 p.m. for one final interview before officially leaving office.
We asked the mayor about the political decision she is most proud of.
“I’m probably most proud of what we’ve been able to do on housing. Because we’ve set the stage. The housing production in this city has been truly incredible moving forward. And what we have done locally with State laws that have removed significant barriers once interest rates start to fall, we’ll see housing production in San Francisco and people won’t be able to stop it And that’s going to change the. gives in terms of financial accessibility in our city,” said. Breed.

And as for the advice she has for the next mayor…
“I give him a lot of advice. Laughs. As a mayor, you think you know it until you’re mayor. What I learned from getting advice from other mayors myself, you want to listen and then be decisive. There are tough decisions to make. Some people will like you and some won’t. But you always have to do what’s in the best interest of the city so you can walk with pride and keep it. head up when you go out there after you’re done”, Breed said.
The mayor indicated that she was going to take her time before embarking on another adventure, whether political or otherwise.
