Houston (AP) Wilmer Flores succeeded again and Luis Matos and Lamonte Wade Jr. also went deep to conduct the Giants of San Francisco to a 6-3 victory against the Astros of Houston on Wednesday to finish a three-game scan.
This is the fourth Home Run this season for Flores, which has only reached four games in 71 games last season. His four circuits were tied with Aaron judge, Kyle Tucker and Seiya Suzuki for the second largest number in the majors entering the matches on Wednesday evening.
Flores made things move forward with its two-point shot on the seats in the left field off Valdez (1-1) with a withdrawal in the first. Matos did 3-0 with his shooting in the field to start the second.
Heliot Ramos doubled with a round with a round to extend his sequence with an additional six -game blow to start the season, equaling Felipe Alou (1963) for the longest sequence of these franchise sequences. The double led in two points to push the advance to 5-0.
Jeremy Peña walked and stole the second goal with two withdrawals in the second before scoring a single on the field by Zach Dezenzo to reduce the advance to 5-1.
Valdez granted four strokes and five points with nine stick withdrawals in five rounds after launching seven goalless executives on the day of the opening.
The Astros loaded the bases without withdrawal in the fifth to hunt Landen Roupp. Randy Rodríguez (1-0) took over and Yordan Alvarez struck a single two points to reduce the advance to 5-3. But Rodríguez withdrew the following three strikers, with two stick withdrawals, to limit the damage.
Roupp granted four strokes and three points with eight stick withdrawals in four or more rounds. Camilo Doval launched a ninth aimless for his second stop.
Wade’s sure the eighth withdrawal was his first blow after opening season 0 for 16.
Rodríguez’s performance in the fifth by working out of the jam to keep the giants at the top.
This is the first time that the Giants have swept the astros since August 28 to 30, 2012, during the last season of Houston in the National League.
