Samsung just teased the Galaxy S25 Edge at the end of its Unpacked event, where it announced its Galaxy S25 lineup. It offered no details beyond quickly naming the phone.
Below are some screenshots from Samsung’s presentation. It was brief, but it’s a phone, okay.
The outlet quotes the representative:
So we will have the Ultra, the Plus, the basic model. It will be South Africa. There is a Slim model, not initially available here. It will be available in select markets.
What will be announced has not yet been definitively decided. But the United States and Korea will definitely be announced (sic). And then this model could be available during a second launch (wave).
Like Apple’s iPhone Air, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be an ultra-thin version of Samsung’s flagship lineup, measuring 6.4mm thick, according to recent rumors. This makes it thinner than the company’s other Galaxy phones. There were rumors of three rear cameras, but that rumor doesn’t seem to be accurate now that we’ve seen it: the phone Samsung showed off today only appears to have two on the back.
Rumors suggest that the phone will be released as early as May.
A Samsung representative said The edge the company had nothing to share other than Unpacked’s tease.
