Samsung confirms the existence of the Galaxy Watch FE

For the past few years, Samsung’s smartwatch lineup has included two models each year, a standard version and a more premium variant. However, the company’s smartwatch lineup this year will include three models, with the addition of a more affordable Fan Edition version, the Galaxy Watch FE.

The upcoming smartwatch has already been spotted on several certification platforms, which have confirmed the existence of the wearable. However, we have not had confirmation on the existence of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch FE. Fortunately, this has just changed.

Galaxy Watch FE support page goes live

Samsung has made the Galaxy Watch FE support page live on its official websites for Ireland, Latin America and the UK. The support page is for model number SM-R861. The latest development also suggests that the launch of the wearable is imminent.

Unfortunately, support for the Galaxy Watch FE doesn’t reveal any features or specifications of the wearable. According to various reports, it could be based on the Galaxy Watch 4, which is not a bad thing at all considering that it was a very capable smartwatch.

The other two smartwatches in this year’s lineup will be the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. The latter will offer capabilities comparable to those of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Hopefully we will know everything when it launches on July 10, 2024.
