Sam Nivolans answers the question of the mixer in the mind of each

HBO broadcast the final of the season of its popular series on Sunday, HBO The white lotus. All the season, viewers have theorized who went to the person leaving the complex in a body bag. This week, we all finally learned that it was (Rip Rick and Chelsea!), But the creator and writer, Mike White, traced us all with Lochlan, played by Sam Nivola, almost dying because he did not wash the mixer with the toxic seeds that still stay there.

Nivola appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Monday and shared his point of view on the decisions of his character in the episode on Sunday. He said that since the show was broadcast 12 hours before his interview, he had been asked “1,000 times” which prompted Lochlan to use a dirty mixer. To which he explained during his appearance, “I expected that Saxon did a protein shake. I thought it was only remaining proteins, so I thought you know what, a little additional protein never injured anyone. I am not really an idiot.”

In the episode, the Ratliff family appreciated their last day and the patriarch Timothy, played by Jason Isaacs, impatiently tries how to tell his family that the Federals have seized all their assets and that he will serve a prison sentence for his shady commercial transactions. He tries to kill his family with the toxic seeds of the fruit suspended from the tree of their villa, leaving Lochlan because he is the only one to say that he can live without money.

To commemorate their last day, he asked the waiting staff to offer ingredients to make Piña Coladas, and he added the mixed toxic seeds. Timothy, his wife Victoria (Parker Posey), his son Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger), and his daughter (Sarah Catherine Hook) drank the soiled coladas but ended well. The next morning, Lochlan decided to make a protein tremor without cleaning the mixer, who still had the seeds of mixed, which made him vomit and vanish – by making believe that he is one to die.

The viewers were amazed at the character of Nivolaa – some thought it was because he wanted to have the last piece of alcohol who remained in the mixer, others attributed him to be a lazy young child who did not think much of washing the mixer.
