The Chelsea star, Sam Kerr, broke her silence after the 31 -year -old woman was free from harassment racily aggravated from a police officer.
Kerr called PC Stephen Lovell “ Stupid and White ” during a row heated to the Twickenham police station in January 2023.
The Australian football star had made the comments after she and her fiancée Kristie Mewis had thought they were kidnapped by a taxi driver after an evening in London.
Speaking today after the trial, Kerr said that she had not “intended to insult or harm anyone who” with the comments.
“After the non -guilty verdict today, I can finally put this difficult period behind me.
“Although I apologize for expressed me on what was a traumatic evening, I always argued that I did not intend to insult or harm anyone and I am Recognizing that the jury was unanimously.
“I want to thank my partner Kristie, my family, my friends and all the fans for their love and their support, especially those who attended the court every day.”

Kerr has not played football for Chelsea or the Matildas for more than a year after undergoing an injury to the previous cross ligament.
Chelsea’s boss Sonia Bompastor suggested that the striker could be ready to return to action in February or March.
She added: “I fully focus on returning to the field and I can’t wait to see an exciting year to come for me and my family.”
