McDonald’s loyalty thrust is paid, sales to members of its award regime up 30% to around $ 30 billion last year.
The fast food chain has revealed the increase because it posted annual income that has slightly dropped to $ 6.38 billion, unless the analyst of $ 6.45 billion.
Sales to the stores of American people decreased by 1.4% in the three months on December 31 – during which an Epidemia of E coli reported more than 100 people.
This drop was offset by a 0.4% increase in world sales of comparable stores.
Net profit for the whole year dropped from $ 240 million to $ 8.22 billion.
The McDonald’s stock increased by almost 5% in the morning trade, but has largely traveled water in the past 12 months.
The faithful members helped to drive the last quarter of McDonald’s. There were more than 175 million active users of 90 days of service on 60 markets, with growth of approximately 15% in annual shift.
“The acceleration of the arches continues to be the right strategy while we focus on an increasing market share,” said CEO Chris Kempczinski.
The strategy consists in reaching 250 million active loyalty members of 90 days and $ 45 billion in annual sales across the loyalty system by the end of 2027.
Mymcdonald’s awards were presented for the first time in the United States in the summer of 2021.
