What’s on today’s schedule? After yesterday’s historic evening – with the titles of Léon Marchand, Teddy Riner and the French BMX triple –, we will follow this Saturday the mixed team judo event where the Blues are the reigning Olympic champions (8 hours). The day will also be marked by the road cycling event with a French team led by the double world champion Julian Alaphilippe (11 hours).

In athletics, we will follow the end of the men’s decathlon, the heats and the final of the 4x400m, the triple jump and the women’s 100m. In the boxing tournaments, we will have an eye on the quarter-final of Wassila Lkhadiri against the Philippines’ Aira Villegas (50kg).

In fencing, the French sabre fencers will compete in teams against the Algerians from 1 p.m.

In swimming, Anastasiia Kirpichnikova will try to win a second medal in these Olympic Games in the 800m. Not forgetting the final of the mixed 4x100m medley with the probable presence of Léon Marchand. In team sports, the French women’s team will meet Brazil in the quarter-finals in Nantes (9 p.m.), the French water polo team will try to snatch a place in the quarter-finals against Serbia (7:30 p.m.).
