Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan, who recorded her statement with the Bandra police, has revealed many revelations related to her husband Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing incident, which took place in the wee hours of January 16.
In her statement, Kareena mentioned that when the attack took place, she sent children Taimur and Jehangir along with the women to the 12th floor. Saif tried to protect them.
When Saif intervened, the attacker was unable to reach their youngest son Jahangir, affectionately known as Jeh.
Kareena told police that the attacker did not steal anything from the house and was very aggressive. He attacked Saif several times.
She added that she went to her sister Karisma’s home after the attack.
“After the attack, I was terrified, so Karisma took me to her house,” she said.
Saif is recovering well from his operation at Lilavati Hospital and has been shifted to a suite. He was attacked at his home by an intruder, who allegedly climbed a flight of stairs and sneaked into their Sharan Satguru building in Mumbai’s luxury Bandra area.
The attacker also demanded Rs 1 crore, according to the house help present at the scene, and was also injured by the knife wielded by the intruder.
The actor is expected to be released on January 21, according to the documents.
According to media reports, doctors removed the 2.5-inch knife from his wound. The actor, who underwent surgery, has now been moved to intensive care and is said to be out of danger.
The actor was stabbed multiple times while trying to fend off a burglar in the early hours of Thursday. The actor received six stab wounds, two of which were said to be serious because they were closer to his spine.
The incident took place at 2:15 am when the burglar allegedly barged into their home in Bandra and attacked their house help and then Saif during his intervention.
