Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Century’s project gets a new strange title

The Yakuza Rgg Studio Century developer project has two new names and a new name, both revealed to Summer game festival. Now nicknamed Stranger that Heaven, the game takes place in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century. In the trailer, we have some looks on the landscape and the nightlife of the period, as well as the glimpses of bloody and impactful action gameplay.

The trailer of the story highlights our main character in a smoked nightclub while looking at a performance before going out for a panoramic vision of Japan, showing how the modernization and the increase in international influence have transformed the country. While the previous trailer of Stranger Than Heaven showed time in 1915 – the Taisho era – this trailer indicates that action takes place in 1943, which would be in the middle of the Second World War. This could be a sign that the game will take place over a long period.

We also see our character, Daito, take certain enemies, including a choice to show or not a character mercy – potentially indicating a system of choice / morality. In the end, Daito Converse with a clearly Western character – who even drops an insult from the 1940s to ask questions about the ethnic origins of Daito – only for Daito to reveal that he has blue eyes, something associated with Western heritage.

No platform or release date has been mentioned, but we assume that Stranger that the sky will target current generation consoles and PC.
