Ryanair, a short-short specialist who carries more passengers than any other European airline, has a fleet composed entirely of more than 575 Boeing 737 aircraft. The dependence on a particular aircraft brand, rather than a mixed fleet requiring a wider range of endowment and support, helps to minimize the operating costs of Ryanair.
As a general rule, the Dublin -based airline buys each new variant of 737 to high discounts, including an order awaiting up to 300 MAX 10 models due to delivery from 2027. But half of this order is optional and could be canceled or delayed if the bitter market conditions.
The prices imposed in the United States is already undergoing Boeing’s activities in China. O’Leary previously warned that Ryanair could end his Boeing policy only if American prices and EU countermeasures cause higher prices.
When asked, O’Leary said that Ryanair would be potentially open to transactions at the right price with Airbus and the Chinese state comac.
Krishnamoorthhi, the principal democrat of the restricted committee of the Chinese Communist Party, wrote this week in O’Leary this week to exclude aircraft in Comac. Ryanair signed a 2011 agreement with Comac to advise the company based in Shanghai, but did not buy any Chinese plane.
