Ryan Reynolds has finally revealed the name of his and wife Blake Lively’s fourth child: Olin!
The “Deadpool & Wolverine” star made the sweet announcement at the film’s premiere at Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday.
Reynolds, 47, revealed his youngest child’s unusual Nordic name as he addressed the crowd ahead of the highly anticipated screening.
“I want to start by thanking my wife Blake, who is here,” he said onstage. “I want to thank my children James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing – which is the content of this film – that will ever happen in your wonderful lives.”
“I love that my whole family is here,” he added.
The couple are also proud parents to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4.
The “Red Notice” actor and Lively, who tied the knot in September 2012, appear to have confirmed the arrival of their fourth bundle of joy in February 2023.
At the time, the former “Gossip Girl” actress, 36, showed off a baby bump in a series of photos shared on social media.
“Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023🥘 🍲 🥧 been busy,” she captioned a few snaps from her family’s Super Bowl party.
And it doesn’t appear the couple have ruled out expanding their brood just yet.
On Monday, the “Free Guy” actor revealed that he wants as many children “as possible.”
“As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, destroying stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s do more of it,” he told E! News.
But the couple probably won’t ask their friend Taylor Swift to babysit because, according to Reynolds, she charges a high fee.
“The cost of all this is… I think the accountant said, ‘Prohibitively expensive,’” he joked to the outlet. “But I think he meant, ‘Insanely expensive, what are you doing, I’m not your accountant anymore.’”
Yet the road to parenthood has been smooth sailing for Reynolds…for the most part,
In April 2023, the actor admitted that becoming a six-person band was a surprisingly smooth transition.
“You know, two to three (kids) was a huge jump,” he told ET Canada. “Three to four less. I can’t speak for my wife, but that’s just what I’ve observed. But we love it. You know, we’d be fools to do it again if we didn’t love it,” he said.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” hits theaters July 26.
