Ryan Garcia tests positive for banned PED in VADA drug tests after Devin Haney win, furiously claims result is ‘fucking bulls***’

Ryan Garcia tested positive for the banned PED ostarine in two drug tests conducted around his victory over Devin Haney.

On April 20, the 25-year-old shocked the boxing world by flooring his rival three times and beating him by unanimous decision, but that victory is now in question.

Garcia tested positive for ostarine in two VADA drug tests conducted the day before and the day of Haney’s victory.

He also tested positive for a nandrolone metabolite (19-norandrosterone) in one of his tests, but this result is not yet confirmed and requires further laboratory analysis.

Garcia took to social media Wednesday evening to respond furiously once the results were made public.

“I came here to respond to this claim that I cheated,” he said in a video.

“Everyone knows I don’t cheat.

“What can I say? Why didn’t they announce this before the fight if they found it before? Why would they let me get in the ring as a cheater, get the win, and then post this?

“These are people who are trying to attack me for whatever reason, but no amount of weapons against me will work.

“I’ve never taken steroids in my life. I don’t even know where to get steroids at the end of the day, I barely take supplements.

“They say it comes from ashwagandha, it’s fucked up.

“Big lies, I beat his ass, get the hell out of here. F*** the Haneys.”

Haney responded in a written statement.

“It is unfortunate that Ryan cheated and disrespected both the fans and the sport of boxing by fighting dirty and turning positive not once, but twice,” Haney said.

Ryan Garcia sheds light on Logan Paul’s training session and calls him out for a fight in the future

“Ryan owes the fans an apology, and based on his recent tweet, he still thinks it’s a joke.

“We put our lives on the line to entertain people and make a living. We don’t play boxing.

“It puts fighting in a completely different light.

“Despite the disadvantage, I still fought with my shield and got back up. People die in this sport. It’s not a joke.”
