The director of Leicester City, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, has ax one of his senior players after the midfielder refused to compromise on his 100 -thousand journey in training, according to reports.
The Dutchman was allegedly involved in a stormy confrontation with the former international of England Harry Winks after having rejected a request for a night once a week on the Foxes training ground in the north of Leicestershire.
According to the Telegraph, Winks, 29, is one of the three senior leicester players who travel more than 90 miles every day to the club’s Seagrave training base.
The newspaper claims that the former Tottenham star, who joined Leicester for costs of 10 million pounds sterling in July 2023, has his own private reasons to commute nearly 100 miles in training every day – a trip authorized by the former boss of Foxes Enzo Maresca.
Van Nistelrooy, who was appointed new Leicester manager in November following Steve Cooper’s bag, would consider the journey as indiscipline and wanted wink to spend the night at the training base to help preparation before the club’s premier league conflict with the title champions of Man City on Wednesday.
The training base of 100 million pounds sterling in Leicester is equipped with accommodation at the hotel, as well as a golf course of nine holes.

With Van Nistelrooy wishing to turn the fortune of his team in the middle of a lamentable borehole, he had his Leicester team train in the afternoon before returning to another session the next morning.
Winks, who has played 25 games in all Leicester competitions this season and presented the bench in the last three fox games before Wednesday, was chopped with the Van Nistelrooy team for the Etihad shock.
