Rusev could be back with WWE, but it seems that a return from Wrestlemania is not part of the plan – at least not for the open challenge of Randy Orton.
A few minutes before the kick -off of Wrestlemania 41, Fighter dropped an update by closing one of the hottest rumors of the weekend. “A source we talked about said that they did not expect Rusev as an adversary of Orton”, “ The report noted, effectively putting speculation in bed – for now.
Rusev, now officially returning under contract with WWE after its AEW race as Miro, was spotted in Las Vegas with his wife Lana before the event. Their appearance sparked fans theories that the former champion of the United States intervenes for the injured man Kevin Owens to face Orton at night two of Wrestlemania.
But if WWE plans to bring Rusev back to the lap, this will not happen under the lights of the alleging stadium – at least not as an Orton challenger.
The fans gathered behind the idea of a Rusev return, many hoping to see the return of “Rusev Day” or a major restart for the Bulgarian brute. For the moment, however, this return will have to wait.
