The CEO of Weltrend Semiconductor, Inc., a Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer, has apparently said that “video game console orders will pick up in the third quarter.” He says this is due to “shipments of the new PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch models.” We already know that Sony is preparing its PlayStation 5 Pro console, that Microsoft has a new Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition model coming out, and of course, we’re all waiting for the Nintendo Switch successor, which is expected to launch after March next year.
