“There are no outside objectives (rule), so everything can change and this is my message to players.
“I think they have to think about the second step, and they have to think more of the first 20 minutes than the rest of the game. We have fought a lot at first, but the goal and the red card have changed the game.
Bilbao’s boss Ernesto Valverde was angry that the Norwegian referee Espen Eskas decided to send Daniel Vivian for a foul on Rasmus Hojlund and attribute a penalty converted by Fernandes – even more because she looked like Alejandro Garnacho managed in construction.
